Hi I have a cbr6 fh and my front and rear calipers are a bit poo..
Is there an uprated caliper I can change to on the rear? Posibly off a newer model also could I do the same for the front?
Would I need to change the disks too? (They are performance disks and in good condition).
Any help would be appretiated!
Thanx..

Have you fitted braided brake lines yet?

Nope, but its the pistons on the calipers that are seizing up so I'll have to do a whole strip down of all three, and by the time you've bought the bits to do it on all three its easier to buy new ones..http://www.essexbikers.co.uk/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif

You just need the seals from david silvers plus give the pistons a good clean up. I did the same to an old VFR and the brakes where amazing when I'd finished. Braided lines will transform your braking, even with old calipers!

Got quoted ridiculous money for brake seals for my ZX-6R.
Over £120 cos they're triple pots. So with dust seal, fluid seal etc there's about 24 to replace!!
