They say they are the dady of bikes! They say that they led the way and still do! They say that these bikes are owned by nutters!
It may be true but what a can say is that they are indeed good bikes, a bike is only as fast as the rider 90% of the time very few people could ride one of these bikes to its full potential no matter what the age of the bike.
The GSXR750WP is one of the upgrades for the GSXR range and was said to be only a moderate improvement with the bike reaching its heaviest ever, that I think must be true because it’s a bit of a porker compared to more modern versions, however, this bike will still handle very well in and out of corners and is stable in long straights.
The seating position is a bit cramped knees up around our ears whilst you’re virtually lying down over the tank. This I like it makes the corners feel like corners and brings you close to the ground (this is what fast bikes should feel like) most modern bike have you sitting up know. To me it’s the difference between a Racer and BMX. You can crouch over both but one of them feels natural.
The power delivery from my bike is sort of smooth until you try and thrash it and then you will experience a mad 8 grand turbo like rush… it pumps out 102 bhp on the back wheel which is as good as most new 600’s.
NOT bad for an 11 year old bike I say.
I love it!!! Anyone else got one?
Plus.. you can pick um up for a couple of grand....
