My bikes garaged, but if it was outside in this weather I'd leave it uncovered. I'd rather have the bike getting rained on than being possibly blown over and damaged.

Mine's uncovered, up between next doors fence and the corner of the house so its as protected as poss. If the fence falls on it from the right, its nothin compared to the damage if the bike was to hit the floor hard from upright. Covers just turn into big sails in that kinda wind and make it worse in my opinion.

Have mine garaged, but covered it at work early this morning and it was fine, don't quote me on that though! :o

mine are Garaged, but in the last big gales 1901 or 1984 or whenever, I found the cover the next morning. it was stuck up a big tree!
I,d say go naked!

Mine has a draw string at the bottom, saves the embarrassment of running around after it :grin2

mine was tied on, but in them gales i was lucky the bike wasn,t up the tree still in the cover.
drove to london (car) early that morning, and there were trees down, and artics, on there side all over the place.

If you want your bike to remain upright in high winds you need to turn it (if you have the room of course) so it faces the wind, put it in first gear, let the clutch out and push it a few extra inches forward until the slack is taken out of the drive train. Then put it on the sidestand with the handlebars turned hard left.

Mine's stayed upright through the big 80s hurricane and recently whilst parked on soft ground on a cliff top on the Isle of Wight during a wind so bad I was inside my tent all night holding on to it from the inside and praying I wouldn't end up in the land of Oz.
