ok coming up ballards road on way home from work tonight and just before the bull roundabout theres a piggin speed camera . i know its there so im now doin 25 mph . a cop car comes tearing round the corner coming towards me so i move over to the kerb a bit as he had to overtake a car . then it happened flash flash bloody thing went off now it must have been him cos he was on my side of the road . do they go off if the cars coming the other way . anyway called dagenham nick just to inform them . they gave me a number to quote just in case . do you reckon il be ok . i bloody hope so

u will be fine just if u get anything though just inform them and it wont go no further but if they c the police car in the camera they willl no its for an emerantcy

yeah they can, on way 2 my missis house theres a speed camera on the oppasite side of the road n its all ways going off coz cars on oppasite side

You are in no danger, the scammers will see by the white markings that you weren't speeding anyway (hence the double, timed photographs).

Someone wants to have a look at the speed camera on the Highway. That ones got a mind of its own. Goes off all the time and the traffics only doing about 2 mph. I dont know why but thats what is happeneing.

Going down the A1306 from Dagenham to Rainham, theres a camera outside the shop with all the bright lights outside facing towards Dagenham, Ive had that go off while I was going the opposite way so they can be set off by traffic oncoming as well as the trafiic going past.
Sure you'll be fine if the police car was in shot, will show he was on his way to a call and wasnt you speeding.

I went up Ballards rd 2 days ago, and as i came up to that camera, a police car with blues and twos on, was coming in the other direction towards me, i hadnt actually got to the camera yet, and the police car didnt even cross onto my side of the road but the camera went off reguardless so i wouldnt worry too much, looks like a common occurance with that camera!

I pride myself for being a rebel, Alot of people recommended blagging that i was on my test and thus couldn't of been speeding.. but at the time i wasn't fit to argue it in court.:grin2

i'm sure i remember a billericay cab driver telling me they all set them off going the wrong way so the film runs out quicker, but i remember the first time i set one off going the wrong way about a week after my test i was bricking it til i found out for sure. bit off topic but if you get 6 points in 2 years after your bike test to they remove your license like with cars?

Yeah, 6 points in the first two years totes up to license removal.
Though insurance with 3 points is STUPIDLY expensive.. wtf??:grin2
They want a grand for a Reliant ffs.. whats the deal with that lmao.

Even if you get a full licence for a lawnmower.
However, once you've gone past the two years, new categories being added don't start the clock ticking again.

The police were parked up in the footie car park the other day down Ballards, waiting for peeps to come speeding down. Two cars, two motorbikes and one 20/20 laser.

Yes :( I losy my 1st full licence to 6 points, had 3 from provisional then got another 3 about a year into my probation and had my licence revoked. I was allowed to apply for it again as soon as i wanted but had to re-take my cbt, theory and practical test again. Re-took test last september but still have 3 points on license til this december so gotta be really careful and after that still a year of probation, so be careful.

Yea really harsh lol, 1st summer of having the bike coming up and really gotta be careful, it be alright next year when licence is clean again cos atleast i'll have 1 life (3points lol) to get me through the second year of probation :grin2
