Maybe its an age thing but after getting off of my Aprilia after a bit of a blast on Friday, I came indoors and started looking at other bikes on the 'net.
Have considered a Tuono a few times but found myself being drawn towards a Buell!
A moment of madness or a sign of approaching 40, I'm not sure......

A test ride on a Buell should be enough to convince you that it is not something you could comfortably grow old with. I had a ride on one two weeks ago and found it to be quick, torquey, agile, but too vibey. Take a test ride and see for yourself.

But Buell have added rubber footpegs, surely that has fixed the vibey problem. :laugh1

I really like the Buell because it is different from the mainstream, half the reason I prefer Aprilia over Ducati...
I have looked at a Multistrada before but it just doesn't float my boat, especially with the extortionate servicing costs.
Buell are going to be at the trackday at Snetterton on Friday so I shall take one of their bikes for a rumble around the track.
Someone on here did buy a Buell didn't they? Can't remember who though....

Out of interest, would you be buying new, and are you in a hurry. Aprilia are due to bring out some new models soon.

Not at all in a hurry, and I was looking to buy used on the Ducati as they are quite expensive new and seem to loose a bundle as they leave the dealers.

Now I'm 36 Ive stopped looking at sports bikes. Going to get an SV without fail but all the bikes I look at are touring versions of the R bikes. GSX F CBR F and alike and even the nice little VFR400.

I don't much care for it either. I would prefer most any other colour. here is another photo, but I dont like the colour of the bike in this one...http://www.automotoconso.com/leblog/IMG/infos5/honda-cb1000r-profil-1.jpg
