Wasn't too sure where to post this but here goes;

I'm considering doing IAM course over the spring/summer this year - anyone here part of the chelmsford group or know details about it?
Eg when/where they meet, availability etc

Went to a ROSPA meeting last month but not IAM

ROSPA is held at Chelmsford Police HQ.
Not sure about IAM though

There are two IAM motorcycle groups in Chelmsford.

There is an original group called Essex Advanced Motorcycle Group (EAMG) who are an independant group who train people for the IAM test or the ROSPA test or any other m/c test.

I became part of the IAM via work, it does make a difference to my insurance but it does vary in % on what discount your insurance company will offer and what certification you receive.:reading

OK another question. Is there a time scale of how much riding you have done before you can do the IAM. And if there is does it only include riding on a full licence or not. Also whats the cost of doing it too?
