Damsel in distress callout going............... Any knights in shining armour? Lol

Basically I have a problem with my bike and need to get it back to Dagenham from Southend,

SO......

Is there anyone local to Dagenham/Harold Hill with a motor with a towbar that can spare it for a day so my mum can bring dad's bike trailer up to pick the cbr up.

OR.......

Is there anyone on route to Southend from Romford (A127/A13/Hornchurch/Billericay/Basildon/Southend etc) with a large van and ramp that mum could borrow to stick the bike in the back to get it back to Dagenham.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED......... PLEASE :grin2

Err how was it dumb? the only thing that is dumb in all of this, is your grasp of the English language it would seem ;)

He stated he had a tow bar and it was attached to his car, and that he would drive, i can't even begin to see how you manage to find an opening for sarcasm in that ;)

Unless of course you have been sniffing the contents of your petrol tank! :D

Where's Latchingdon? It would mean a trip to Dagenham to pick up my dads trailer then to southend, then back to dagenham?

Can sort you out petrol money of corse and coffee too.

I've just called work and explained, tried some advice that Beanboy gave to fix the problem, but i think its beyond my capabilities, dunno exactly what is wrong, or how to fix it, so i really dont know what to do except get it home and hope someone can fix it, otherwise i'll have to try to borrow an ER5 from Dad's to get to work from tomorrow.

So as i'm not working tonight, am free anytime tomorrow (not too early tho coz i will prob have work at 10pm) untill evening (8pm)

And 2E your comment made me smile, even tho it wasnt 100% on target. :grin2

Kev will be along to explain that Latchingdon is over Burnham way.

Out of interest what is wrong with the bike, I could have taken a look tonight if you'd said, I'm busy tomorrow now though.

I just wanna say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to SDM, Got the bike loaded and back to Dagenham safely, even with a noisy trailer. Now just gotta borrow a bike from Dads for work over the weekend while he's away and will hopefully find out soon that its something really simple and cheap to fix.

Dawn, the biscuits were there but he was happy with a couple of coffee's and went merrily back on his way home. I am so so so so grateful to Kev, will def be oweing you both a few drinks at the White Hart next time!

THANK YOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!
