While @ Snetterton last week in addition to my clutch giving up I noticed fluid all over the bottom of my left fork.....

I intially thought it was just a seal that needed replacing but on closer inspection I noticed this

Can this be repaired or should I look for new forks? :(

Someone did tell me once that you can get fork tubes stripped and re-coated but I recall it was quite costly so perhaps its more prudent to scour fleabay :(

Yer my thought to. But my concern is buying from eBay your just as likely to get a nicked pair at best and a bent pair at worst.

I can get 2007 Hyabusa ones from a very reputable guy on TLZone in America for $350.00 but that's+ shipping and duty

Cheaper to get new fork tubes, it isnt particularly cheap either way at around £100 to get them recoated and around £150 for a new set of tubes.

Speak to McTechnics and Darren should be able to give you both the advice and also the parts you need ;)

All sorted now :grin2

I managed to get a pair of TLS forks from a guy on TLZone for £100.00 no leaks or anything. Collected today ;)
