usually go but it is the same weekend as WSb at Assen and that is a must - been going for years with a group of mates and it is the BEST weekend of the year, ever. Even if they did move it from 1st weekend in September where by rights it should be. :jumping2

I spent a few very drunk nights in the Cauliflower from the age of around 13 maybe 14, for some reason I always ended up eating scampi from a random shellfish stall but I don't actually eat fish!

I spent every Sat night in the Ruskins and Burnell from 15 till about 25 lol I didn't know the Burnell was gone!:suprised1 . The Ruskins doesn't chuck you out till 2 now so we never get any further lol. I still get to the Ruskins a couple of times a year. Lots of kids but always a couple of familiar faces as well

I bought my 2nd GPz750 (new) in there. It was parked in the sidestreet which had a really pronounced camber. I had just brought in my old GPz750 as part exchange so was jumping onto exactly the same bike (albeit a bit shinier, it was even the same paint scheme).

The salesman walked up as I was starting it and asked if I wanted him to run through the controls with me. I gave him a haughty stare and said I knew what they were and needed no help. I had to eat humble pie and call him back when I couldn't get the thing off the centrestand because both wheels were hard on the carriageway due to the curve of the road surface. I rode of quietly and meekly.
