Don't suppose anyone has got or know where i could get hold of a 2nd hand inlet camshaft for a CBR400R NC29???
As my broke durning the major service??
If i can't find 2nd hand, will have to fork out £300 brand new
Thank's
Jack
You tried all the breakers shops?
If you cant get hold of one it might be worth fitting a set of HRC cams or Kents cams. I would have thought these would be cheaper than what you quoted.
The other trick is put an inlet as your outlet and then get a high lift inlet.

I would be asking how/why did a camshaft break during a service :?: :?: :?: :?:
If it was nrgligence then its down to the dealer who did it :!:

Well this is waht im asking my self, the bike went into Redline Motorcycles, where i brought it in the summer. I asked for the Major Overhaul to be done, he said two of the vales were quite tight, and as he went to remove the camshaft to change the shims, he knew as soon as he released the pressure it was ganna go.
They have never tried to mug me off, and have alway's been reliable, but if the camshaft was on it's way out, better it broke in his hand's than at 17k rev's. But yea, i have been asking that question!!
