If either of the moderators read this, can you please sort out my
profile so that I can log on the main board. When I try, it says invalid,
user name already taken. I know it's me.

jag-wire,

I have just emailed you at the address you used when you signed up to the forum. Reply to that with the password you want to use, and i'll make sure your account is working.

ive just seen why your account is not activated. You put a typo in the email address, and instead of it going to tesco.net it went to tedco.net.

I'll change it now and activate the account.
