Shane take your lid to that bloke in Southend that Micky knows, he'll spray it for you.

I think Lillywhites had his lid sprayed by him.

Gary I think that is his name........

Yep Gary Thomas is the name....based on the industrial estate Sutton Road, Southend.....think his web site is spray-point.co.uk

Absolutely top top man.....looking around £ 200 to £ 300 for the job if mine was anything to go by.....

Wouldnt it be cheaper to get a Arai helmit in the same design and get the graphics airbushed on??

the captain

possibly, but then, as was pointed out to me, any arai warranty would be void!

i'll get my black AGV painted instead......when i can afford it!

i'll have to look around for some quotes!

Question???? How the the Racers get on with that then, who sprays their lids?? someone has to and most of the top racers are sponsored by the lid manufacturers...............

can you just get some vinyl stickers done? there must be some that are safe for helmets?

one of the guys at the weekend had a pirate flag up by his awning this weekend, makes it dead easy to work out where you are in the paddock!

"can you see the flag?"

"yes"

job done!

most of the top racers helmets are hand painted , when i went to nec last year we saw Rossi's own crash helmet and you can actualy see the brush marks , and if you have a glass fibre or carbon fibre one the stickers wont hurt the material its only the polycarbonate ones that stickers affect ok ........shane if not buy an airbrush and practice

Dont forget that the racers are sponsored, they get their lids made especially for them by the manufacturer, fit and design!!!

Aye!

Just got to work out paints and stuff too.

Need to be water based so the solvent doesnt damage the lid structure!

MICKTLS
