Thank you, yeah im really happy with it, although the paintwork has alot of blemishes on it, which is hard to see in the pic, it looks quite good from a distance.May get it resprayed in the future or go all out and get a convertion fairing from k-conversion.

hhhmmm maybe she's not finished after all....just took her down to my local petrol garage to fill her up and on the way back approaching the a1306 roundabout the throttle decided to get stuck open, by the time i had pulled the clutch in and hit the kill switch (thank god that worked!) my front wheel was already in the air and i was getting to see a bmw badge up close. Some how managed to miss the bmw and parked up on the pavement but damn it scarred the **** out of me.
Just hope its something nice and simple like something caught up in the throttle cable.

Very very nice matey. Can i ask who you had to do the paint work, as my 400 needs a respray.

I haven't had it sprayed yet, its hard to tell from the pic but the tank has faded quite alot and there's alot of marks on it too. But when i get it resprayed i will probably go to sudden impact i have heard they do a great job.

You was right, the previous owner put the wrong oil in it, although i stripped the whole thing down i didn't do anything to it really apart from changing the oil and it works fine now. I have discovered the previous owner had a habbit of putting the wrong stuff on or in the bike, had to change the regulator and some of the wiring too, he had put the wrong one on (from a nc35 i think) and it had blown and melted the connector and the wires. But at least i have have learnt a little more now
