Read MCN today and it had a write up on the new monster, aprilia shiver, er6-n and the new sv650.

i know that ducatis have never been mentally fast but for a top gear roll on from 40 to 100 i think it was the ducati took 20 seconds and the rest were between 12 and 13 seconds, was just a little bit shocked that it was that much slower.

I did think it might be down to the gearing but it was also the slowest!!!

Yes surprising, but with some decent pipes, they sound much better. Imo.

they do have a great sound and i guess that in the real world you would knock it down a gear or two anyway but just shocked me thats all, hows the ktm running?? its sad that we have the same sig thing :laugh1

Funny you should ask about my bike ,I had it serviced on tuesday at hyside. Done 3600miles now but it was a yearly service thing. It had been surging for a while and was getting worse. Had it rejetted as well and the rear brake recall was done on warranty. They are very helpful there, They had the bike for the day and offered me a bandit 600 as a loan bike. And the sig thing! Well, I think you just beat me to it and Ive been waiting for someone to say something so, Ill go and av a look and change it. Cant wait to have a nose at your bike in the flesh by the way.

i shouldnt worry too much about the sig, my screen name is on mine and we can be a united orange front :laugh1

Hopefully i will have it on the road and will pop up to the pub at some point
