Ok to answer all the questions about why I'm selling my bikes :grin2

There are a few reasons actually. Firstly and most importantly the bikes with there dropped bars are playing havoc on my wrists. When I was younger (from about 14 to 25) I used to do a lot of power and weightlifting and it's completely buggered my wrists (stop sniggering at the back). Secondly, I really do get all that much time to use the trackbike so to have it sit in my garage to us say 3 or 4 times a year is silly. And finally I didn't realise until recently that I don't actually go anywhere on any of my bikes. So thats going to change also I want to do some Europeon trips and also get out to my more racing events club and proffessional.

So what am I going to buy? I don't actually know yet :grin2 what I do know is it will be a twin! :p I've currently narrowed it down to 4 bikes from four different manuafacturers in 4 different countries ;)

But fist I need to sell the TL's

What are the 4 countries? I will guess at Japan, Italy, Germany or Austria.

Before you do anything to hasty, try doing a search for Heli-bars, basically they are a kit that enables you to raise the height/reach/drop of most types of modern motorcycle handlebars. Being mulit-adjustable you should be able to find a compromise between pain & pleasure.

There was an artical in one of the lads-mags recently I think it was performance-berks, the journalist fitted them to a R6/R1 and it did/can make a difference.

A kit or two has got to be cheaper than selling bikes?

Try doing a web-search for more info..

I had considered some sort of handlebar mod but the guys over at TLZone only recommend one they have all been tried at some point. And that requires you to cut (read as butcher) the fairing in order to get the correct lock to lock movement.

I explored the whole 'fightering a TL option not so long ago and decided it was too much like a money pit for my taste.

Why not? Think of the extra cash he can make on the side if he buys the crop spraying add-on.
