If you have one of these bikes and have the engine rebuilt at any point, make sure whoever does it has the powervalve locked in its closed position whilst the cylinder is being bored.
I took mine to Stan Stephens and paid over 600 quid including the vat for my rebuild and he even forgot to check the powervalve... and hes supposed to be the best 2 stroke guru in the UK!!
If this isnt done, and the engines on its 3-4+ oversize, the piston/rings will hit the powervalve when it closes at low revs.
