cheap gk73 parts

i am looking for a cheap front/top fairing for a gsxr400 gk73. also i need the part of the speedo that is located in the wheel. i donot have much money to spend, but if anyone has one or knows where i can get one plaese let me know and i will be most greatful. thanx, chris

you need a speedo drive, exact same as an RGV 250. Just got one for £10 for my bike, and it came with a cable!!

did u find the top fairing u wanted? i got a fibreglass one in the garage that i was gonna use but now dont think im gonna have a fairing on the bike, i got other plans!

no i havent yet. how much do you wnat for yours. i havent got any money at the moment but should get some soon from selling my fzr. it is the one with twin lights isnt it? is it unpainted?thanks for telling me about your item. chris

what was up with your down pipes you were takin off in the end by the way mate?

if its just holes i might make you an offer and repair them - then i can sell the cans and the pipes as a full system at least even if they are a bit tatty

yeah, just holes. ive put exhaust putty on several times but it keep coming off. but, if you can repair them then feel free to your old ons (possibly with a discount off your scorpion exhaust that i want) ive painted your old ones though with high temperature paint, in titanium colour.

be a sad day if i broke the gixer but i might have to do it to finance the new bike - jsut fancy somethin a bit tidier - wanna tidy mine up a bit but not sure its worth the time i would spend on it to be honest

im in neeed of a tzr125r(like dans old one) piston with rings n barrel! if u can get hold of one of them somehow i'll swap!

im gonna go over my bike with a magnifying glass and then any dodgy bits ill probably buy off you. i definately need the exhaust, speedo drive, rear pads and in time when im richer the wheels and brakes. i also want the seat unit. but i cant afford all that at once, so if you do brake ill probably get it all over the next few months. the exhaust is a priority though.

i dont know where i can get the cylinder sorry. if fingerz brakes his bike i might get his top as it is the same colour as mine. thanks for letting me know about it though.

i have got a few prices in me head but nothin concrete yet - if im gonna shift the bike in bits, i have to do it fast - so far i have had a pretty good response and most of the bike is gone between you and wowzer if the prices are right :)

i will be without a bike for a little while you see until i can afford a new one - having just reinsured my bike, the insurance will still be running if i break it, meaning i will be able to get anothe rbike insured easily enuff. But this means i have to finance the new bike using the old bike money - if its not enuff, then i would be without a bike until winter! :o

if ya wanna sell things like the starter n carbs seperate thats fine as i got those i just want a lump that worx nicely n runs, coz i got a stage 3 kit that i want to set up on it when i fighter it.

all fairing pannels r gonna go,seat unit, side pannels,2 nose cones/top fairings,2 twin lamp units,2 H frames for the lights, clippons,think the screen is cracked, gotta keep the clocks for MOT reasons-have to have millage,most probably keep the bellie pan aswell.

i just wanna built mine and fast cos all my mates have there bigger bikes n i get left behind on my 125 unless its town riding or windy roads where i just bomb it. im just looking at getting my large rear sprocket n small front so i can have a wheelie machine n summin that can do a decent endoe without me nearly kissing the clocks!

all of which i never do on the PUBLIC ROADS ofcousre!

i paid a grand for it 18 ish months ago - it was bad, ran on 3 cylinders, carbs were totally ****ed, little bits needed painting.

Now its a little bit tidier, runs a lot better altho could do with a propper carb tune, carbs balanced and oil changed 3 times in the last 7000 killometers - i might have done 9 killometers on it as it goes - cant remember what i bought it on think it was 18000k. As you know it has full scorpion exhaust system on it, 11 months MOT & 10 months TAX...

make me an offer - what do you think its worth - i wont be offended! :) will just break it!

i was just wondering as i wanted to start going to tracks, but dont wanna take my restricted bike there. im not sure if the vfr or yours would be best for me. i might get the vfr as it is almost a giveaway price and then buy most of your bike to make my gsxr better.
