Do you know of and if so, how do you rate Honywood Motors for bike MOTs? With them not exactly being a bike garage I'm a bit wary.
I'm working only a few minutes walk away from them now and with my MOT coming due this week, they seem ideally situated.

You have to check what 'class' of vehicle they're authorised to MOT.
According to www.ukmot.com (http://www.ukmot.com) - there's a 'Nevendon Service Station' in Honywood Road, Basildon, but they're only rated for Class 4 MOT's - Car up to 8 passengers.
You need somewhere that does Classes 1 & 2 for a motorcycle.

You can find your nearest MOT Test station with the official Government link here:

Thanks for that.

The sign on the wall outside says class 1 and 2 bike tests. I saw a bike sitting in one of the bays when I walked past at lunchtime today, which is what made me take a second look.

The postcode for Nevendon Service Station, when entered into streetmap points to where Honywood Motors is situated, so obviously either a change of name or operating under a different name to that displayed.

Yes, give it a go, should be fine. Hope it passes for you.

Got it done while I waited yesterday. No problems. Bloke doing the test is a biker himself and we had good chat during the test. Test fee there is £25.
