Its a sound deadening foam

Im not sure if you can get it pre cut buy some normal foam and cut it out but to be honest i dont think its needed

Mostly it's sound deadening, and helps with vibration too.
You can buy something similar in <spit> PC World. Dunno if it's as 'thick' though.

Well you can buy the original stuff from your local kwak dealer, but they'll probably have to order it, and it won't be cheap!

personally i wouldn't bother unless the extra noise from the engine bothers you
(or if the panels resonate to much)

might be cheaper find a car audio place that does dynamat/sound deaden material..? and use that instead

resonate is a posh word for vibration at certain frequencies ;)

basically as you rev the bike, the different revs cause different noises through vibration, just do a search for self adhesive foam sheeting and i am sure you will find plenty of options :)

Try doing a web search, if not I’ve seen similar stuff (sound deadening foam) in a demon tweeks catalogue/fleebay, it comes in various sizes 1mx1m, 1.5mx1.5m etc and you’d need to cut it to shape. Or there was a specialist Kawasaki Breakers in the West Country called Barton ----? They maybe able to help.
Another way might be to use aftermarket foam of the same thickness, then insulate it with heat reflecting self-adhesive foil (used in race/rally).
