Awesome mate cant wait for the next one, first session was good as spent it with one of the instructors then the second session was a bit crappy was missing a the apex's and just felt like i was hacking at every bend but the 3rd and 4th were the dogs was ripping round with some guy on a gixxer thou and managed to out brake him through clearways then he passed me on the straight then another cheeky out braking got me passed him a paddock hill bend, and managed to keep out in front, was some seriously quick people there in the other group jesus scary to watch. Would just like to thank all the staff at brands and focus events for the best day ever and when it went all wrong they delt with me so quickly could not of faulted them oh and cheers for not cutting my leather off:grin2

Probably did 2E but leathers can have holes etc repaired so best not to cut a £800 pair of leathers off unless it's the last option!

yes i know that but that wound must of bled like a bitch!!!

Would you really want to wear patched up leathers after that..even if you washed them.. bloods very difficult to remove, particularly if its settled in for four days whilst you've been in hospital.. that shirt covered in blood from my injury a while ago took 2 nights soaking in a washing up bowl of detergent to get it out.. and that was only a few hours after..:shooter

Its up to him obviously:grin1

Leathers can be cleaned, if oil & grease can be removed from them then blood certainly can...

Anyway moving on, get well soon fella!

If you look at a set of arlen ness leathers they have a stretchy fabric part on the inside of the legs and arse it went through there, so can be repaired without the leather even having to be touched. As for blood there was hardly any the surgeon said i was very lucky as it was extremely close to the artery and tendon.
So after all that i need to get my leathers fixed, bikes ok, gloves are ok (need a wash due to holding the wound) right boot is a little mashed on the cable twisty thing that goes across the toe area(sidi vertigo corsa's), and my head didn't touch the floor so helmet is still like new.:grin2

Oh yeah just the leg then............

jeez dude I know it's not the right word to say but you're "lucky" to get away so lightly. Femoral artery is around that area and if that gets cuts it's curtains for you unless you get someone to stem blood flow asap. Speedy recovery to you and thanks for putting me off my dinner :)
