well as some of you know i got my son a derbi sendA 50 . well the engine was bust so ive now fitted a 70 kit and it runs pretty sweet . he cant ride as hes still 15 but we got it cos working on it together will give him some experiance . anyway now its running im gonna take him over to the cardrome in hornchurch tomorrow to teach him how to ride clutch control etc . anyone know if you pay by the hour or day or wot .

I think you pay an entrance fee of about a tenner, then you can stay as long as you want.
Was like that a couple of years ago anyway.

Yeah....its a tenner and you can ride all day! Ride in on the right where theres not a barrier (where the cars come OUT) take a left straight away and there will be a hut. This is where all the biking mallarcky takes place. tell them what you want to do. Pay moneys....and they will give your son a day-glow bib! Job done! :-)

ah good old derbi senda thats what i learnt on! when it worked anyway! and the cardrome is where i did my test many years ago!

bit late for me to turn up now but if Dan had told me bout this thread (i was out cold last night, very ill) I would have said ask for Dave and tell him his daughter sent you. How did it go? Hope your boy had a good day.

yea dave was top man let us in for nothing . shame the gearbox blew itself to bit after 10 mins lol . engine out again lol . and i did mention ya name but ive spoken to him a few times before . his instructor even had a go of me 1400 while i was there and loved it . oh well back to the drawing board

Oh such a shame that it gave out on you,

I had a derbi senda and also spent countless hours repairing the damn thing...... an mine was brand new!! its not DX03 WYF by any chance is it??? if it is get rid quick as i put 2 top ends an a bottom end and a complete rebuild on the fooker....!! lol
