ok - got the low down.

12000 miles on the clock (18000 kms)
400R - so its an import... thats the only bad thing, but he wants to get a bigger bike now and it looks like hes looked after it well.

Its an L reg and hes asking 2,600 for it.

Decisions decisions... i dont know if i want a bike that old, but it is in mint condition... well, the body is, dont know about the engine... must go ride it!

Ello Danny boy :) dont worry about it being an import unlike the tzr the only difference in it being an import is (A)KPH on the dials and depending where its came from it will be unrestricted ... they restrict these babys by sticking a black box into the clocks weird eh ... but all it does is restrics it to 100 mph the restrictor dosnt kick in till 4th gear and it then restricts the revs to 8 or 9 k but im sure this aint restricted :>
other than that parts should be np at all .. (Y) Oh and yet again ive got a **** load of bits if u ever need um heheheheheheheheh ! :) lmfao

Oh btw condition on this bike is amazing ... i wouldnt pay anymore than 2.3 for this .. even if its in good condition .. but thats me ... stunner of a bike tho ennit :)

From the guy selling it:

The bike is currently de-restricted, but I have the restrictor kit with it, if needed. The bike is completely standard, except for the braided lines and tinted screen. As regards service history all servicing has been undertaken by myself regularly. I have maintained the vehicle regardless of cost.

If i get this, the wheels are gonna have to be sprayed black.... yeah i know, im a tart... but thats the only thing i dont really like.

Ive always hated the VFR rear wheel, but dya know, it looks quite smart on this!!

I just went onto bennetts site and done a quick quote:

based on these details we can cover you from:

£ 383.16

The price quoted should be viewed as an indication only as we have assumed certain things. The full quotation service we offer requires further details from you. This means that the final price may be higher or lower than the quote above.
