Hiya, I knew the track bike would go, it was a bargin. My crash left me with a broken arm in 5 places, I just got unlucky... I miss not having a bike so much, not sure when it will be stronge enough to get another. Thanks for your reply, oh and by the way I live in Leigh-on-sea Essex.

have you still got the R6 or is that what u crashed on? (what happened by the way)? If u haven't got it, what you gonna get instead?

Hiya, well about the crash, I had a track day at Brands Hatch in November, it was wet but the rain had stopped and a dry line had appeared on track, so I started to push, I was doing everyone, even those on full race wets. Near the end of the session I decided I would slow down after the start finish line. As I went into clearways I felt the back of the bike move, which was ok, but I noticed I was slightly offline and heading for the wet stuff, I just lent the bike a bit more to get back online and the front went, I remember thinking this ain't so bad, but what had happened was the right handle bar had bent into the front brake, trapping me to the bike. As we hit the straw bails, I stopped dead, the bike didn't it bounced back and took my arm with it.
As for the R6, I had to sell it as i'm selfemployed and needed the cash. I was off work for two months and even now my arm is not very strong.

November...hmm... my old man was on a track day at brands then! I was gonna do it, but i didn't fancy my first track day the weekend before one of my exams, just in case! He was on a ZX6R, red on one side and silver on the other! well actually, the flash g*t was on two, one with dry tyres and one with wets and a softer set up (that he switched to half way thru the day).

Hi mate, could have been the same day, it was the 12th of Nov, which was a wednesday. Can't say I remember much of who was there, but I remember the crash, and still see it from time to time. Sht happens... Have a good weekend mate, and take care :wink:

I may be at Brands tomorrow (sat) as some of my friends are doing a track day, wont know til lunch time as I need a lift and one of my mates is not sure if he is going to watch til then.
