There is meat left on them but the edges are worn donw to the leather. If i turn them sideways they might last a little longer!

just what i thort mate!
i STILL havent got me knee down! - altho i know why now - 3 reasons - 1 - me bike and tyres 2 - the roads round here are full of manholes and pot holes 3 - i didnt realise i was starting to lean when pushing opposite lock, then as the bike went down i was staying upright!

I dont know what tyres youve got but my gsxr manages to get me flat knee sliders on roundabouts (no where else, not good enough yet) i thought the 130 tyres wouldnt len enough, but i plucked up the courage to try it. go for it mate, looks cool

This is me on the R1 at Bishopscourt.
In an Endurance race you try not to waste too much energy by climbing all over the bike like spiderman so tend not to lean off as much.
You dont have to lean the bike that far to get your knee down. You can just hang off the bike more.

do you think you would start racing an r1 instead of your cbr? and thats a good picture.
I do race the R1.
What I want to do is get into Powerbikes as thats where the Future is.
In the Endurance race at Oulton my avarage lap was quicker than most of the Superstocks Fastest lap!
The problem is they spend about £100K a year!
I know Mark Davies who races in it (ZX10) and he spends over £10K a year on tyres (Sponsored though!)
In other words I would love to move up to a Litre Bike next year but I dont have the money or Sponsorship I need.
And thanks for the compliment on the pic. It was taken by the Team manager and pro photographer Kailah Eglington.

Hmm i got a 140 on the rear - bridgestones - the rear is more or less bald in the middle from when i got it and i didnt help matters by doing burnouts now n then specially before a drag up the strip! - Didnt help, just felt good! And i was tryin to get on the video they were taking lol! Didnt work tho!
I will get meself a pair of new tyres but its about £180 which there is no way i can afford right now. Specially wheni havent even got the brakes etc sorted yet! Feathering the throttle is impossible too cos of cabrs which is important in a corner init! Ah well!....one day lol!
Might even come back form cornwall with a 600 next week - who knows!!
That is a goo dpic tark - make it look effortless!
Effortless? I dont know about that. 2 Hours on an R1 without a Steering Damper isn't as easy as it looks! :?
And Hey! I am In cornwall for the next too weeks.

Might even come back form cornwall with a 600 next week if you sell your bike in cornwall or trade it, you dont wanna give the scorpion with it. i heard the cornish dont like good exhausts. they like the standard type.

**** - tark - where abotus in cornwall ya gone then? I didnt see this till now and im back <wednesday night> dammit! - me cousins are bang into bikes - went to the drag racing at portreath RAF/army base air strip - was good but i just sat there n whined about missing my bike.....cousins had plenty of spare bikes but nothin MOT'd etc - too risky what with all the police mincing around there - we saw sooo many driving aimlessly down the same roads - they should send a few up here lol!
Chris - very good try mate - im afraid they all love cans down there, in fact they have some pretty mad sounding pipes that you couldnt get away with having round here! :)
