:( unfortunately i need to sell my fzr400. it is a 1989 (E) 1wg. it is in fair condition and runs very well. it is missing its main/middle fairing but im sure if you know where to look youd find one. it looks beautiful when the fairing is conplete. this bike has a carbon oval high level g-force exhaust fitted and the standard one included. its has no mot or tax, needs new front tyre. everything else is fine. the paint on the wheels will need redoing as it is cracked. it will also need a new speedo cable. it has been regularly serviced and runs nice and sounds like a beast with the race can fitted. that is all i can think of. now the painful bit. i am looking for around £995 but will accept reasonable offers. there are pics in the picture gallery of all aspects of the bike. my number is:07709437029 if you have any questions. thanks for reading, chris :wink:

im not sure. ive only had it a short amount of time, but i havent had any reminders through the post about tax. would i be able to find out by ringing the DVLA? i was going to tax it earlier this month but it failed the mot on the front tyre so i couldnt tax it, and when i had enough for a new tyre i saw the exhaust on e-bay for £75 more than a tyre but really wanted it, but by buying i have now made an mot even harder to get. and by not having any money left to get it restricted i cannot even ride it to get mot'd.

no nothing that special, but whenever i tell anyone about things that im going to buy i always end up getting beaten to the sale. but now, believe it or not i have almost sold my bike. a mate has said he wants it and has even offered to pay, but its going to take a few weeks for him to get the money. so your not going to see my vfr, erm i mean new secret bike until then.

id love a zxr, but funds dont permit one, and i was lucky enough to find a very reasonably priced vfr400 nc24 (old i know, but in mint condition) i just hope i can get the money for it before he sells it. who knows, it may even take over from my gsxr as my main bike if i like it enough.

yeah, they do rock. But are known for having engine problems! Rockers, cams.... they ware very quickly. U might get lucky and get a good un tho.

Its just so happens...i got a vfr for sale as soon as i put the breaks and faring back on it. NC30 1989 - UK bike not an import. Well fast! Lookin bout £1800 for it. But like i say its not ready yet so keep ur eyes open in the near futre.

since i 'sold' my fzr i havent heard a thing from the dude who was buying it so just for you lot its back up for sale!! i know i wont get 995 for it so make an offer and i will probably accept unless it means i cant even afford a pair of shoes to walk home in. PLEASE someone buy this. you could make it very nice for little money. my number is 07709437029. i have changed the spark plugs since i last said anything about this bike, but have lost te rear indicators. i think it is SORN aswell as i have heard nothing about having no tax.

Did you manage to get the 24? But ill be honest and i dont think you gonna like it compared to the gixxer, no where near as quick. Does look a bit nicer IMHO

YAYYY ZXR's all the way!!! evan though mines slowley dieing more and more everyday,reckon itle be o.k one i get a new de-restrictor box, then the revs wont keep bouncing around! ok new plan. im breaking the fzr. its a good runner so if you need any parts e-mail me and ill get back to you. i dont know much about prices so give me an idea of what you want to pay. it will all be on e-bay soonish. i have all bits available except the big bit of fairing as can bee seen in the pics in the picter gallery. and i have a possible buyer for the engine. i want to get this out of my garage as soon as possibe so i might accept less than you expect. any questions just give me an e-mail and ill get back to you a soon as possible.
