Hey, Thanks for the offer of help. Im not sure what the fcuk is going on right now. Im working **** hours so not got much cash. need to save :( I get staff discounts for most stuff at MRT but they wouldnt sort me out with a deal on a bike (Jay - Mille 8) :P I want it) Ermm, as for the bike, im past the stage of being fussy, as long as i can look at it and go mmmm nice, then im sorted! Jay (Biker Dude) found a VFR400 in Chelmsford i think but we couldnt go see it last time he was down so not sure wots happenin there. I think a 400 is what i need, i just want something to use to get to work thats good enough to be able to go out and keep up with this lot on rideouts etc. Any good deals etc would be greatly appreciated tho, If i dont see the posts then Jay normally does ;)

Yup thats me, little biker wiv da moped :oops: Its still in my garden, hasnt been used for like a year or something. I just text my dad after i got your email and he does remember you working in the shop! My brothers are ok! I was not always coming off the moped, i dropped it a few times but only came off once on a roundabout! Dont remember Fat Dave, but Steve's still there if you remember him? They call him Shrek now!



oh and to go back to the origanal question... how much?At the min i thnk im looking at under £1000 coz i dont want something really expensive, i know im gonna drop it at some point anyways, it'll be my first proper bike! Plus i gotta start saving my pennies!

Still got it, i had a go round the drome the other day :lol: :D :P I had SUCH a grin on my face wen i got off :lol: . Not in Virgin colours, is red again but he hasnt put the stickers on yet. Not sure bout the engine, he did tell me to take it easy (which i did!) and he's gotta put a new chain and sprockets on it, the chain jumps if u pull the throttle too hard!

who is the policy with? im paying £630 for mine.im 19 TPFT with Rider policy breakdow recovery in europe. tis pretty sweet. had to spend a whole day phoning em though as me first quote was £1200! Ha. No actually there arent that many speed cameras on the Chelmsford part of the A12. and then we got the OLD A12 to play with, that just cuts through half o chelmsford. thats where it happened. Oh and i just got a phone call...... they just got the new pump in and...the fuel relay has blown....For {EB} sake....Grrrrrr! Oh yeah and why doesnt she pay insurance monthly,Evan I couldnt afford that lump, i paid 250 out straight now i pay 45 a month ... or somthing like that anyway, well worth looking into!so is the bike actually in her back garden now then?

Excuse me! I am a little late on the scene but i have to have my little say.

I race a honda and I would say they are very Reliable and even after I trash mine again and again and it still runs.

Not to mention it is tuned to higher than a brand new 600 sports bike and still only needs an oil change every now and again.

Now for speed! I beat all bikes from GSXR1000's R1's etc etc on my CBR600. So i would say they aren't that slow.
