anyone know what or how to do anything aboot me pipes n can? ive got a full scorpian race system, the can is a slip on, anyone know a cheap road legal one i could use and slip on for me M.O.T? thanx a bunch! J

in the back of mcn u can buy a BSA sticker to put over the NOT FOR ROAD USE Bo#####s for about 50p works for mine n thats in doubles HONDA.

wot ya got to lose juat say it came with the bike if they ask! they will prob pass it as they will say it had a stamp on it,(not knowing) its fooled the cops! :lol:

or get someone to polish it out like i did on a friends, or like another just cut it down about two inches! where theres a will theres a way!

bit and pieces/voyager on baddow road said that they would rent me an exhaust for my tzr for the MOT, so if they have a zxr one in then thell prob let ya use it.

Some places dont even bother. My dad has a Bandit with a Viper race exhaust on and the MOT lace passed it with that on.

They said "Well you would only go home and put it back on after the MOT anyway" :lol:

agree with mark. get yaself a different mot tester.

mine passed the race bike for an mot. i asked what the bare minimum he needed to see on the bike were, for a daylight test...
numberplate
brakes
brakelight working from one or both brakes
horn
road legal tyres

so i put the bike thri its mot with no indicators, headlight, speedo, sidestand etc etc. it was basically as i race it, but with a numberplate, brakelight and horn attached!

i dont get any probs putting the cbr400 thru (race can) or the zxr750 (full race system)

and my mot's take about 5 minutes. he knows i check them over carefully beforehand, and i dont take the pi** trying to get an unroadworthy bike thru its mot.

sweet! thanx guys. i was just getting worryed cause its LOUD! it hasnt got a NOT ROAD LEGAL thing on it anymore, got rid of that ages ago. baffles the old bill :D apparently you can get absolutly bollocked for that, but like you said ile just say i bought it like that!
