Here we go!! pictures of the baby egg cup all finished !! (well apart from those horrible red grips!!)
I bought the bike as a frame and engine and 5 boxes of bits!!

Very Nice. bodywork looks well. Have you had it Sprayed?

the bodywork had all been re-sprayed before i bought it, but the previous owner had never gotten round to putting the bike back together, so the panels had been hanging in her garage since the respray. I don't know who it was who sprayed it, but they have done a good job!! the lettering is decals but they have all been lacqured over. The stars are air brushed though and the emblems on the tank are as well.

no i'm keeping it to run backwards and forwards to work on, i've got shot of the nsr125 that i used to use. The blade and the gsxr are just too expensive to run backwards and forwards to work on and besides the little things great!! it's so easy to get your knee down on and its good for a 110mph. Just got to get the clutch springs changed as it slips a bit at the mo then it will be a proper little hooligan bike!!

have u had a new chain and sprockets fitted cause i did that and i got borderline 120mph on mine! but yeh she definatly good for 110mph

Its not just New chain and sprockets but what size Sprockets you have on.

I usually put mine down one on the front as accel from lights is more fun than top speed. :twisted:

its running standard size sprockets and new chain, after posting the last message i had 120mph showing on the speedo on the way home from work!! not bad for a little 4 stroke 250!! i would have thought the speedo wouldn't be all that accurate though, gonna get one of my mates to ride beside me on his gixxer 750 to compare. will let you know the outcome! still feels mega slow compared to my gixxer!! i'm used to 130bhp not 50 !!
