Eletric start????????????

Hey guy, :cry:

Had to replace a indictaor connection, after i was done the bike wouldn't start?
Tried eveything i can think Fuse connecters,immodilizer, leads gamaged?

Once the starter butoon is pressed in you get a fast cl;icking noise with no astart?

Any ideas before i have to replace the starter motor or have to hang my head and take it to the shop?

Any help will be much needed

sounds like it could be a low battery

Try charging it up

My cbr does that too on a flat battery.

It just seems strange that the battery would go flat like that? :?

Yeah your where right, batt low????? looked inot ti and its a slight prodlem with cbrs they need a full 12v to get the magnetic start going anything ike 11.80v will not do it.

Just strange, took the battery out charged it for 2hrs til full,connected it back up rasn for 1hr turned off for 20mins then same probelm again??

I've now check the alternator, connections and battery it self and checked all connnections with circuit tester???

May have been a loss wire or something, shes working fine now, i threatened that i would leave her in the Bike garage and let a greece monkey strip her, which seemed to work cause theres no problems now???

check your earth straps if you got a bit of time spare take the straps off and give them a clean

good idea, i'll take them off and give them and the nuts a quick wire brush clean, hadnt tought of the earth, cheers mate
