air filters!

HI!
so glad i found some other people who are into tzr abuse!
thing is ive just fitted a S+B filter to my 92' 125 and i dont know what to adjust the mix to any ideas? :twisted:

hello mate

if its a performance free flowing filter then its not really much use without a performance exhaust can but if you have both you really need a re-jet or somehow richen the mixture up to compensate or you will damage your engine in time.

With a filter you will probably get away with a richen on idle and maybe pulling the main jet needle up a bit on the throttle slider to compensate just in case

but then you probably know that already - inly thing i can suggest is to use a colourtune from halfords or take it to a bike mechanic!

hmm S&B u say try a 170 to a 190 hex main jet .. only 1.50 each ...
im 90 % sure i used a 180 but its been a while since i messed about with me old TZR ....

The standard exhuast will do the job fine ... although a nice micron pipe wouldnt go amiss :)
