How can i get more go on the cbr 250
I've stripped off the pillion pegs and taken off some other crap to save weight, and removed the airbox lid so it can suck more except that it lags a bit above 7-8 and makes some funny noises i'm going to attack the exhaust next but what sort of ****en bolts are they screwed on with? have you seen them??

Changing the air box might have made it run rich at high revs. I found that changing the internals of the air box on my CBR6 made a drastic dip at high revs due to too much air.

You will need to up jet it you start playing with the air flow and exhaust.

You could ditch the hot water feed to your carbs (as bikes run better with cold carbs) but this might make it a little harder to start although i have never had a problem with the race bike.

Total loss syatem gets rid of the alternator so there isn't as much drag on the crank and the bike revs up much quicker. This would mean your battery wouldn't charge. It all depends on how much you want to do and if you are willing to live with charging the battery everynight etc etc.
