CBR 600FW Dent In Petrol Tank

Lo to all,

Well had a shocker > have a dent in my petrol tank (long story) smooth no breaks in paint about 4 inch's long - Anyone got any recomendations, a new tank is out of budget but the things got 2 be sorted im from Chelmsford area if anyone knows of som1 for the job ?

Try and push it from the inside, Pressurise it with compressed air to blow it out or use some kinda sucker thingy on it.

TarkMalbot - Chers for tips, well have a look at weekend if can DIY however would prefere to get a dent specialist if any1knows one, prob is finding one that will work on petrol tanks !! ? ?

The only fear is cracking the paint or making a crease. then you will need to take the paint off, fill it, sand it, prime it, sand it and the get it sprayed.

Yup I liked the colours so bought that one from a dealer selling it :)

Thks - hmm crack the paint will be a new tank, got a qote on respray, dent rapair already and fit around £160 but will lose the graphics on the side of tank ! .. think i need a pro to do it ! .. anyone know any dent specialst who will work on tanks ! ??
