check:
2 stroke oil - sounds like my TZR with no oil in it!!
coolant - check for blockages - take pipes off, blast radiator etc through with hose and see what comes out.
thermostat - check its opening and the coolant is flowing through the radiator
water pump/displacer - check its working, not leaking and not wornout or stuck
mixture - wind the carburettor mixture screw in to the stop, then wind it out a tunr and a quarter to a turn and three quarters. if its an air bleed mixture screww you will want less air so less amount of turns out, if its a fuel bleed screw then you want to wind it out a bit rich so that the engine runds cooler jsut until you solve the problem
hope this helps! :)

thanks for the tips.its not the termostat cause the water in the pipes ae hot and when ive been unning it for a bit and i take the cap off the water and antifrezze is hot.ill ty the carb mixture screw. how do i check if the pump is woking,i though the wasnt a pump on 2 stokes cause the water when it gettes hot it expands ad that is wat makes it flow.if you repley plz write bak on the forum message. thanks. mike
I know that on TZR's there is a small water pump at the bottom of the right hand engine casing where the bottom radiator hose goes in. I know what u mean tho some engines coolant circulates by convection - not sure about the RG125 engine tho - might not have a pump but not had chance to look at one. If there is a pump then when you run the bike, if you take a hose off it should push all the water out of the system pretty much! :)
