This should be a simple problem what uve got here is a fuel blockage ur carb is just about supplying enough fuel for the bike to run at -6000 revs but anything over that and the fuel is quickly used up ....and then the engine dies ....
Surgestions :: Takes ur fuel tank off and take the fuel tap off clean that out and blow it through and wash the tank out with fuel if theres anything floating about in there .. also take ur carb off and take the fuel bowl off ... if u have a compressor handy blow all of the jets (holes ) through with it clearing them of any unwanted blockages ...
Im pritty much sure that should sort it
If that does sort it to save the problem acuring again buy urself a fuel filter about 3 quid from most motorcycle shops
good luck ...
