View Full Version : fouling problems on tz125r
when the engine is ticking over and then ya rev it, it starts farting at around 5 r.p.m. when ya hit 2nd gear its gone. i thought d prob was too much 2 stroke but i got it checked, and they said its a carb prob.
then i was told by some 1 different that its my piston, got a pressure check and its reading 75...
dont know who 2 belive can ya help.. have to say tho that its drinking petrol like mad, around 70 mile to a full tank.
could be sucking gear oil into the crank through the crank shaft oil seal, is it using gear oil :?:

need more info when u say its farting around u mean its got a flat spot or do u mean it starts backfiring?
This could ethier be a problem with a blocked main needle jet or a main jet problem have u got a standard air filter or have u got a free flow one such as a K&N or S&B? take ur Carb apart and check that none of ur jets are blocked if uve got a air compressor handy give all the holes (jets) and good clear out ...
good luck
