Well Now I have sold the Hornet I am back to the SRX Project.

As my forks were knacked I bought the whole front end off Spiders FRZ250. Now I have all the parts I have cleaned them all up, shotblasted etc etc.

I am about to spray the wheel now. Just waiting for the undercoat to dry.

I am going to a custom spray job as you should all know me by now. I think a Pearl Blue and Pear Red.

I will just have to see what I fancy when I get my paints out!

Watch this space!

The front wheel looks the Mutts Nuts!!! Wait till ya see this baby!

Red in the middle and fading to blue towards the rim.

All painted now with a top coat of clear to make it all shiney!

I am going to do the back wheel the same and who knows what I will do with the seat unit, tank and mudgaurd.

Looks like brand new though!

And will have a twin disk set-up on the front.

Gonna need to get a new set of tyres now.

Check out this baby!!!

The whole wheel was sprayed red first. Then the wheel was fut on a spidle and then spun round. Then just sprayed the outer edge and up the spokes with blue.

Cost nothing matey.

I shot blasted the wheel to bare metal at work and then my dad and I did the rest in the garage. My dad has all the gear and we just used some left over paint.

I have been going the disks today.

I will post pics again soon.

If anyone is interested it only took a day or two to do. I will ask him how much he would charge including primer, paint, thinners, and clear coat.

I have been making the exhaust up all week. I have gone back to the stumpy one but welded it all up and painted it etc etc.

With a nice new brushed stainless guard!
