Standard for my gixxer is 180 i think

it will slow down your cornering. cost more. and look **** when you grow inch wide chicken strips

but hey fat 190's look cool....

the GSXR750 SRAD has as standard 190 but on the new versions they changed it back to a 180.. (i think) fall off has gsxr750 !! is it a 180 on your bike :?

It wont do it any good at all.

You will have more of a lip on the edge of the tyre and will roll when in coners. This will make it feel softer and you will need to run more pressure.

The tyre will be deformed as its squashed onto a smaller rim.

The bike wont accelerate as fast although I am sure you wont notice any difference there.

Why do you want to change it?

the only 2 points that are really correct at the moment, is that the chicken strips do look ****e, probably because on a 190 they are nearly as wide as most other tyres :D

oh and secondly, you do really need to run them a tad over pressure, on the 750 SRAD you can drop it to a 180, but 190's are common and cheap enough now to go and get a new one once you have ruined it :D

i contemplated dropping to a 180 but stuck to my guns, loads of talk about how the bike will drop into corners better, but if you want to do that just raise the rear and drop the front and let the bike do it that way ;)

one of them try it and see moments for you m8, it wont hurt either way ;)
