Andy has been on the road just shy of 2 weeks and he's had his first off!!

No harm done he is fine.

damage to

indicator------super glued

Clock casing and plastic mount points etc---------all glued/welded up and carbon fibre sticky back plastic covered

end of front brake lever bent, but OK

scratches on exhaust

scuffed bar end weight

two minor dents in tank

mirror broken--------replaced both with HG black/carbon ones

Handle bars very slightly bent-----will follow up with renthals!

new tyres fitted yesterday, wet carpark when he left work, pulled away, too many revs, nothing happened......thinks mmm, clutch is not working so gives it even more revs, as the rear of the bike tried to ovetake the front he realised what was happening! but not in time to stop it hitting the deck

He's on the blue ER-5, the one in the centre of the heine gericke pic

He's the one in leathers looking at the red ducati going past, and his bike is in the centre.

A small off will add to his experience, and maybe make him a little more cautious.

Glad he's ok and there's not much damage, ER-5s cans come scratched by default anyway

^^^^oh yes he scuffed the engine bars, so without them the chances are he would have some damage to the engine casing
