things i have done:
changed sump gasket (was leakin)
changed rocker cover gasket (was leaking due to not having one WTF?)
measured shims found they were to tight so replaced 14 out of 16
changed exhaust gaskets ( crushed and ****ed and some didnt have any in)
took off bodged race can added my shiny new VIPER
polished frame up!
lubed chain
cleaned crap off engine
New Air Filter
New Spark Plugs
New Oil Filter
Fresh Oil! (drained old oil)
Fitted Oxford Adjustable heated grips (for winter)
Fitted Braided Hoses (Goodridge)
found that the front rim had a dent in it and didnt rotate cleanly so brought a new wheel rim coming tomoz hopefully
to do:
finish painting the fairing currently the nose cone seat panels and mudguard have been painted in MG Trophy blue (looks the tits) just need flattening then polishing the decals applied
just brought some new side panels (as old ones were fibre glass rotted and falling to peices) took them round to dennis yesterday so he going to paint them
when other rim gets here will be giving dennis my rims to paint them trophy blue then i shall polish the rims (mirror finish)
so all i need to do is fit the front rim await bodywork to be completed then purchase a road legal numberplate (current one about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide) add a front tyre (already got that ) then insure and tax it and im there YAY

this is how far i am so far with the front wheel. the other side hasnt even been touched by polishing compound. it is f-ing dificult to do, quite tricky and noisy. but does look good when done. its taken about 6 hours or so on the front wheel, to strip piant, and do as much polishing as i have. the rims are both finished, its just the middle bits that need doing. but ive got that 1 spoke almost all done, and the other 2 are about half done. so just the middle and the other side and the fronts done. the rear will take some work though. the paint wont budge.
