Notley green roundabout near braintree, first of all the peg touched down, then I pushed that little bit further and down the knee went, before I shat myself, sat the bike upright, and went off for a celebration.

Only person on an XJ600, EVER!

J you know you want some sparklies!

That roundabout is really good, nice surface all the way round, just keep building the speed up and robert's your father's brother.

But keep your toes in, otherwise you'll find you need some new toe sliders, which heine gericke don't make anymore...

I'm so happy!

PMSL!

Good stuuf. Those sliders look like you brushed them on the pebble dashing on the way past your house!

I have never come close on the road though so your ahead there!

I was hoping for a bigger scuff too!!

But I can assure you it went down, people in their cars could probably hear me shouting celebrations into my helmet.

And gixxer 400, agreed, that roundabout is perfect, I tried to get it down a few more times on the way home and failed.

But now I know I can push the bike that far, I'm more comfortable doing it.

Well chuffed!

J, did you get sliders?

Yeah, I was at dukes when that happened!!

And it was the security bloke, called Ray, he did a lot of my training, fat scottish bloke.

He trod on a security tag, and he hasn't got much feeling in his feet, so didn't notice. Infection slowly killed him, poor sod.

He was diabetic, so he didn't feel this spike in his foot for like 6 hours. Got home, realised his sock wasn't red when he put it on...

Gangrene set in apparently, he had a toe amputated, we assumed he'd hobble in on crutches a few weeks later, and sue the pants off of Tesco.

But instead he got weaker, and it claimed his leg, then his life.
