Just cos you have 2 poor examples of VFRs dont mean you have a fountain of knowlege.

More like a fountain of {EB}.

which 400 would you all say is the best, most fun, quickest etc??

Biker Dude

quickest - zxr400
slowest - fzr400
most fun - vfr400 (nc30)
most expensive to buy - zxr400
most reliable - cbr400 or gsxr400
most likely to blow up - zxr400 (has weak cam rocker arms)
easiest/cheapest for spares - zxr400
hardest/most expensive for spares - vfr400 (all types)

urgh, cant think of anything else.... I'm sure other people have their own oppinions... so post em if u do...

I think the VFR is more expensive to buy than the ZXR

That depends entirely upon the condition, having spent the last few weeks looking at the different 400's for the other half, we settled on a ZXR400 (no i rephrase that, she settled on it because of the colours :D ).

The book price for the bike was £1800 for its year, no service history but on 15K as a 96 N reg so we got it down to £1550 :)

Worth every penny too, pics too follow later because she wants to clean it later :D

i bet you didn't realise the corner speed that can be kept on a 125. i've seen a 125 race a 1000 and win for the first 15 laps or so the straights is where it lost out. 8)
