ever noticed?

how annoying it is when you buy something and then someone says "oh you should have said, i would have given you my old one",
how when you spend ages looking for something and then settle for less than what you wanted the original something comes up and its cheaper than what you eventually settled for? or how about the fact that if you reallly need that 10mm spanner it has gone for a walk again?

Heh yeah i know the feeling - sometimes people do that to sound generous as if they would have given you the thing you were lookin for n stuff and make it sound like it was 'like new' when in fact they wouldnt have given it to you and it was in a state - hence they dont say anythin before lol!

Hate to sound like an old man but working in a garage you learn that when your dad used to say 'put the tools away once you have finished with them!' he was sayin it for a reason! I have spent a small fortune on my tools for work, and i am pretty sure i am going to be spending another small fortune on them over the next few years! When i finish with something, if i am going to need it on and off its put in a pile right where i can see it. If i stop using it even for 10 minutes, its back inthe box in the place i know it is kept! [list=1]
