You guys have probably seen this on the news, but this is an army regiment's video from Iraq, not far from where i was funnily enough.

Well the Army can ;)
Its hard to find a sense of humour in the RAF, all that white scarf and stiff upper lip isnt it? ;) :D

Why does everyone think the RAF is like that? Officers give us such a bad rep!
i suppose the difference is when an officer comes back in his plane, the ground crew seem to come up with "oh that ****ers back again!"
The forces arnt really that different from each other, theres a lot of banter between them, but i suppose that more for keeping standards up. Everyone has a job to do in the military and we all play a key part. The video just shows that even though its hot and sweaty we can still have a laugh!

oooooooh
someone getting twitchy there are we? :D
stick a smiley or two in and i know you have taken it in the spirit that it was meant ;)
After nearly 19 years in m8, i can assure you that there is no malice intended, i would readily slate the Navy :D as much as i would slate the RAF, exactly the same as both you and the Navy slate us ;)
And to be honest its not the officers that give you a bad rep, these days its the Military's perception that the RAF get treated differently to other units, again this is brought about because when we go on attachments to RAf bases we tend to see better standards of accomodation, food etc. I put that down to budgets and nothing else, but banter is banter and if it werent for that, half of the time most soldiers would only know of the RAF when it came to going on tour through Brize :D
