There was a biker killed on the same road I had my accident on in Arlesford, almost a year to the day. I very nearly added to the death toll on that stretch of rd :-( Does anybody know who it was or any details? Happened yesterday.

Thinking of his family...

it was in the gazette last night, and a friend called me the night it happened as it was same place I had an accident. It's just a nightmare road, and it's about time they did something about it.

Thats quite negative Fall Off :(

No I think the thing to do, is get all the training and advice you can and aim to be the best rider you can, don't run before you can walk, don't ride like a nutter or a fool, and hopefully stay out of trouble.

Life is not worth living if you are not enjoying yourself, and you've got to die sometime, you may as well be enjoying yourself........I find some Solice in the fact that I am worth much more dead than alive

Thoughts to the guys family,

sadly its a dangerous mode of transport and its a lot easier for things to go terribly wrong.

I dont know the details of how this guy was riding, but lets learn from it and ride safe out there!

Me hang my leathers up???????????? Never. Well not for a few years yet, and mr nori I don’t think so. Do you?
The thing that gets me is the amount of ppl getting hurt on the roads ,not just the riders fault eight times out of ten it’s the car driver just not looking and just pulling out or turning in front of you , bet we have all had that happen to us at some time , what happened to M S M ? think a lot of it is ppl get annoyed when you go down the middle when there’s a queue of vehicles , you get the one that seas you in his mirror (I know that don’t happen to often) he then moves over to block you, why do that ? Your guess is as good as mine.
Main thing tho is that there is not enough coppers on the road to stop bad, drunken and ppl driving just down rightly stupidly. they are relaying on the speed cams , but that don’t show what the ****er was doing before hand , but he wasn’t speeding at the cam so that’s ok , don’t get me wrong we all speed , and any one who says they don’t well have a rethink even if it’s only a couple of mph, but it’s not the speeding that kills it’s the rider driver that kills , by just not looking around and see what’s happen , by only thinking what’s right in front of you , you need to be looking right up the road , forward thinking , and keep every thing smooth.
Right getting off my soap box now..
