Hi guys. I know some of you like to belt it around the Burnham bends, so a warning to you all. One of my staff members who drives through there every day warned me that the local tossers are back to their old tricks of smashing beer bottles in the middle of each corner. Go careful out there, and if anyone has any info on who they are I think we need to pay them a visit.

what thought process do people go through sometimes?! didn't they used to put oil on the corners and braking areas etc?! i rekon a stake out would find out who was doing it!
what happens when someone gets hurt?!?!?!?! you know what'd happen, it'd be a biker being stupid, no one would believe people are messin with the roads!

not bein funny but there aren't exactly a lot of houses out there in the sticks, if we had a rideout along that way ALL day sometime we're bound to see something happening...
does you're staff member know the people/see the people doing it? or just see the glass?

Also, Mr Plod has been actively persuing bikers in that area, specifically for loud cans and small plates..............'cos as we all know they can be exceedingly dangerous, so they are using their time well, improving road safety........NOT!
So be warned, either make sure your plates & cans are legal or steer clear of the Burnham area.

Apparently the "mess" appears in the morning, suggesting that it happens after a night hanging round the bus shelter drinking fanta and sharing 10 marlboro lights. This is not a new thing or so it would appear, last time it happened it was a load of 1.0L nova driving giant bean can wearing chavs (Now it know what one is :) ) who had a war going on with some bikers who could obviously beat them in a race round the bends. Sour grapes!!!!

Hey Juvenile, dont get too riled just yet. If I know the lads from Burnham like I think I do this will be sorted quickly and painlessly, provided it doesnt happen again. I will let you know if I find anything out.

Perhaps the Police could help!........maybe they could send a mobiile speed camera down there!
With the cans and number plates covered, and a speed camera to stop speeding, everything must be fine mustn't it
But being serious, if you REALLY want to do something about it, the best thing you can do is go down there with a broom and a high-vis jacket!

Is this still the case with the BBs? Haven't been down that way but would like to try them - and would prefer not to steam over a fist load of glass and nails...

I havnt seen any further evidence, apparently it was a petty feud between a small group which ended up affecting everyone. I havnt seen any more glass since the post and I drive through at least 4 times a week.
I dont ride em though coz I just end up in the hedge :D

Wouldnt take me long to get over there, although, the bends over my side are a good warm up for the Burnham ones, especially around the Hullbridge area.
Just shout when someone is going over that way and we can see if we can get a few people together for it.

lol...guys. Yup, i'm up here in king's lynn. Basically find the A10 on a map and follow it up and you'll come to lynn. Not the most exciting place in the country but we have got lots of country roads to play on!!
