Got up n decided to ring GP in brentwood and John Pease in chelmsford and a few others to get prices and information bout piston rings, see who could get them in first.

but being hasty impatient timmy GP said they could get them for tuesday and i jsut paid the man over the phone - dammit!!! what a twat! i dont even know for sure if its 2nd oversize i need!!!!!

arghhh!!!! im such an idiot!

i mean the measurements suggest that it is second oversize but i dont know for sure! i mean, my measuring apparatus could be innacurate for all i know?!!?

ahh well, will have to wait and see i suppose. bet thats not even the dam problem now!! also gotta get a gasket set just for the 2 gaskets i need - think i will blow that out n just use sealant! not like 2 strokes have high compression or anything! i mean 6.8:1 - what kinda ratio is that!>??! you could turbo one!!! LOL!

Just buy yourself a sheet of DIY Gasket Paper and cut out your own gaskets! I reckon that would be better than just using sealant.

hey,

'' think i will blow that out n just use sealant!''

Normally a good idea, unless u have a
bike that likes to eat sealant for lunch.

I mean that every time i've used it, i've gone 2 miles down the road
and the sealant has already BURNT or MELTED away, thus wasting
money and too much time. The DIY gasget is the best way to go, but
make sure u get thick paper (almost like cardboard) or double up on the
paper.

good luck
