Don't diss Shakespeare dude!
Hey Pete - do Essex FM still have that big sound stage on the back of the truck? What events will you be playing at?
ProdigyPete

Yeah Shakespeare is cool, not really up to speed on 'Macbeath' though, so hopefully I'll get the gist of the story!
Translap thats cool, let me know how that rides!?!
Essex FM has got a few Summer Events happening and yeah they still have that big truck, I do a few but usually around the Southend area as that is where most people who work there are from!
I'll let you know what events are coming up and if I'm on it!?!

I'm always at Baz Vegas! Me and Russ used to be addicted to this weird horse racing game they had in the arcade in the bowling alley. It was just a lame excuse to drink beer.....

Nah it's the one where you breed a horse then race it - it's like a flight sim - but for horses! LOL Sad, yes I know.
Have been to Ikon in BazVegas a few times - sticky floor central!

Nasty accident at Bentley tonight. Some guy tried a wheelie by looks of it...with cold tyres...came off and slid into a car :-( Slightly conscious when I called ambulance, and not looking like he'll be there next week....anyone know who it was? T x

Its antics like that, that give bikers a bad name, all bikers know that any decent bike 400cc upwards will wheelie, why do some of these people think they need to prove it?
We all know and the general public don't need to know, and showing them, just convinces them all bikers are lunatics, and thats what will attract the Police to these events.
All that said, hope this Guy is OK, and he's back on two wheels soon!
I spoke to his ma insasualty last night (Long story) But, he seems to be ok. Damaged verterbrae in his back, but he can wiggle his toes, so the signs are good, and he's with it up top, from as much as I can gather.

Spanky you are right, wheelies are great, I never said any different, what I said was that they convince the uninitiated that all bikers are nutters, and as such they attract a lot of attention at such meets, and that will draw in the Police.
If we all ride sensible at these meets, (have fun on the way there and on the way home), the locals and the Police will have nothing to complain about.
Upset the locals and the Police and they will be there, checking plates and cans, and issuing the odd ticket for a bald tyre or a parking violation. But if we keep our own house in order they will have no need to attend.

When I'm rich, I'm going to buy a large car park, so bikers have a place to go and play, off the road.

I heard he'd tried to overtake a car on one wheel and went straight into the path of an oncoming car?
I didn't see it happen - I just saw his bike siding down the road and loads of sparks. Made me feel ill - hope he's ok
Apart from that it was a great night - really great atmosphere - I'll defo go again!

Oh No!!!!
He should have practised loads then done it when he can control it on 1 wheel and really impress the crowds! Hope he is ok tho!
Bad news, I bet he is regretting it this morning!!! Poor Guy
wasnt overtaking...came off hard standing and popped a wheelie from cold..bike didnt like it..back wheel went and he slammed into car comin other way :-( doubt he'll get away with it either! Wheelies are an instant license taker, and how many witnesses did he need? Felt sorry for the couple in the car to be honest...
Didnt see u Em. Let me know if you're up for next week :-)
