Just got into work - it's 10.30
Basically because some gang of hooded yobs, armed with a screwdriver tried to bust into my garage. They've obviously seen the little 125 supermoto that lives in there and wanted a piece of it.
They weren't arsed with the big bike - just after the DT! Thieving yobs
Now my garage is busted and I cant get into it - grrrr!
It just worries me that someone has been watching me and knows what I keep in the garage! :(

Yeah I know what you mean, my house backs on to fields and there is tree halfway down, that me & my friends used to play nice around when we were young,
now usually on a school holiday you get these 12/13 years nobs with hoods over there caps sharing a small bottle of 'Beir Blonde' and I always lock the garage, but you always think that 1 day your pride & Joy maybe be gone!

MX/motards are like gold to them though, means they can steal it, then abuse it over the field they hang around on then just dump it :(

if you have a metal door wire up a car battery to it. that would teach the scumbags for trying to take your possensions.

No they didn't get anything- It's just my garage door is mullared now so I have to go to the expense and hassle of getting it fixed before I can get the moto out!
Yes - it's time for a big ass ground anchor....

Emm
Make sure you dont skimp on the ground anchor, you want the concrete in one really ;)
Also on the chain make sure that its a decent one if you are going to go to the expense of bothering with a ground anchor.
A really good one is to fit one of them really bright security lights inside the garage, as soon as the door opens it triggers it naturally and you then get the full focus of the light being shone through the door and outside, its surprises them no end, the light can also be linked to an infra red beam (really cheap) which is linked into an alarm.
Total cost for the lot shouldnt be anymore than a ton at most, but if they are willing to go to the trouble of breaking the door open, then you can bet they will try and find a way to get through the chain, so you might aswell make it real difficult for them.
Failing that i could always come round and doss in your garage one night, its been a while since i had a good dust up and really feel the urge to stomp some toerags :D

The only thing that remotely resembles Chester in "Hollyoaks" is the bridge at the beginning, which jumping off of into the river was incidentally a favourite pasttime of mine as a lad, until however i dived in an hit my head on the bottom one year :D
