Ooof. Me is poorly sick. Feel like ****e :(

Never had a sore throat like this before - I'm off my food and my glands are so swollen that it's painful to get my helmet on.

And I've got too much work on to take any time off.

Oooh I need pity!

Did you have white stuff at the back of your throat? if you did it sounds like you could have glangular (spl) go to the doctors. Theres alot of it around atm.

Oh no poor Emmz. Hope it gets better, Y do colds and sore throats only come on when you have got loads of work and lots of going out to do!

It must be painful with a lid on!

Isnt it strange that something as innocent as this sort of topic, can quickly deteriorate into something that really belongs inside the cover of a top shelf magazine in a garage :D


What you need is a some throat lozenges to suck on or some antisceptic gargle!


No innuendo's please guys, Dr Lateshift is in the house and on the case :D


Oh and they might taste like **** but if it sorts the problem out for at least 10 minutes then that would be my choice, nothing worse than a sore grid :(

Hummm i really should have thought before i spoke :lol: :roll: I meant that if it could well be glangular as a white sort of stuff covers the back of the throat. Well thats what the doc told me last year as my tonsils where swollen for over a week and had trouble breathing

Must admit my dirty mind went into overdrive then too! LOL

Feeling a bit better today - throat is still sore but I'm not feeling as rubbish generally. Been sucking strepsils like there's no tomorrow! hehehe

Lid's going on a bit easy now too, so I must be on the mend! Hurray!
