makes sense i suppose :D i had my VFR restricted for about 15minutes but hated it so spent 5hours taking the restrictors back, just see if you can find a dodgy dealership who will knock up the documents without doing the work  either that...
or dont get pulled over :D so have you only got 3months left until your licence is unrestrcited?
p.s. THATS A DAMN SEXY BIKE :d

not sure to be honest, everyone who i asked said it wasnt worth it for them because of the amount of trouble they could get in,
i ended up splashing out to get it properly restricted, documents and all, (cost like £200), then me and Eversoslightlyfasterthanu spent that evening taking the washers out.
I wouldn't bother personally, the police vary rarely pull you over and even if they do they donthave a clue about restrictors or anything
(disclaimer- the restrictors are actually in my bike  )

I nearly bought one of those SV1000's but I'd have had the unfaired version, but I went for a s/h Fazer 1000 instead

Mate, seriously dont worry about restricting it for 3 months, if you do some dealer will charge a fortune to do it, and stamp the required certificate, if your free in 3months, even if you get pulled, how are the police gonna know if its restricted?????
They wont!
